Forager Chardonnay is a pure expression of place, crafted from hand-picked grapes grown on a tiny chalky hillside vineyard in North Canterbury. Shaped by cool-climate conditions and warm prevailing winds, the vines produce fruit with depth, freshness, and character. Guided by a philosophy of minimal intervention, the wine is gently whole-bunch pressed and naturally fermented in French oak barrels before aging without fining or heavy oak influence. The result is a refined, textural Chardonnay that balances precision, natural purity, and a true sense of the vineyard it comes from.
