Fruit for this Napa Valley Chardonnay was selected from the producers distinctive vineyards well as from growers with whom the producers have long-term relationships. The particular combination of terroirs results in an exceptionally expressive, complex wine.

Sourced from the cool, fog influenced slopes of Carneros, where breezes from San Pablo Bay and cool nights allow for slow, even ripening, this Chardonnay develops impressive balance and complexity. The wine opens with aromas of fresh peach, golden apple, almond and subtle toast, leading to a palate of tart stone fruit, lemon zest, hazelnut and lifted minerality. Juicy, fresh and elegant, it shows a pleasing viscosity and length, delivering a Chardonnay that is both expressive and beautifully poised.

Buttery Chardonnay, smooth, creamy and simply melts in your mouth. The beautifully integrated toasty oak results in flavours of brioche and vanilla, while still enabling the delightful ripe stone fruit characters to shine through.

Vibrant green in colour, the nose is fresh with lime juice cordial, white peach and hints of subtle creamy French oak. The palate is crisp and fresh, lime and honey dew melon linger, intertwined with well integrated oak and defined acidity that gives structure and length.

Brassy golden. Tropical notes of white grapefruit and white chocolate. Flavours of fresh apples and pears intermingle with notes of toasted vanilla and oak with a full bodied, creamy finish. Instead of smashing the skins & seeds, Slow Press, press the grapes gently to extract the best juice. Letting the juice ferment slowly at colder temperatures amplifies the grape's natural fruit flavours. Aged in American oak barrels for 9 months to develop a full-bodied, creamy mouthfeel.

The Jones family are original pioneers of Marlborough, with William Jones founding the Starborough homestead and sheep station in 1865. Four generations later the original Starborough homestead block in the Awatere valley continues to thrive and is now producing world class wine. Aged in full oak barrels, this is a full and concentrated Chardonnay with aromas of ripe citrus, yellow stone fruits, white floral, hazelnut and toasty oak. The textures are fine and the complex flavours of vibrant stone fruits that are mouth filing with a strong core that carries to a full, citrus and nutty finish with lemon-curd and toasty oak giving this Chardonnay a creamy and delicious finish.

In Stoneleigh's Marlborough vineyards, sunstones absorb sunshine during the day, radiating heat onto the vines at night, resulting in their distinctly vibrant wines. Stoneleigh Classic Chardonnay displays ripe stonefruit and pear aromas with hints of toasty oak.

Pale lemon in colour with a brilliant, diamond-like clarity, Elston Chardonnay shows captivating notes of roasted hazelnuts, cashews and citrus fruits on the nose, alongside crème brûlée and nougat. Tropical fruit, intense white peach and ripe lemon all radiate across the palate.

Sourced exclusively from Te Mata Estate's own vineyards. This Estate Vineyards Chardonnay was harvested from Bridge Pa Triangle, Woodthorpe Terraces and Havelock Hills vineyards. White gold in the glass, immediate refreshing appeal of ripe nectarine and lemon sorbet edged with sea-salt, roast almond and a hint of smoke from French oak. Delicious on its own, or a wonderful partner for both simply prepared and fuller flavoured seafood and white meat dishes.

The growing conditions in Marlborough mean that it is well-suited for the production of world class Chardonnay. A relatively cool climate results in a long, even growing season which is great for flavour development. This means that TWR can make a style of Chardonnay which balances concentration and complexity, whilst retaining the finesse that a higher natural acidity brings - which is unashamedly the style they like to drink!
