For well over a century, the Jam Shed played a crucial role in the development of the region through both jam and wine production. This Shiraz is rich and opulent, with sweet red berry flavours and balanced with a subtle hint of vanilla and spice. It's a seriously delicious red wine, jam packed with flavour.

Jim Barry Assyrtiko is fresh and electric, with dried lemon flesh, lime juice, bay leaf, and fresh pink grapefruit juice aromas. The palate shows powerful fruit weight with generous fruit flavours, and a clean acid line. A very long drive with slight salinity on the finish.

The Cover Drive Cabernet Sauvignon, first released in 2001, has been inspired by the great cricketing history of this vineyard. The wines consistently show great line and length. The nose leads with aromas of fresh tobacco leaf, cassis, boysenberry and spice. A silk like entry on the palate with super fine, detailed tannin, ripe berried fruits, a hint of tobacco and the classic brambles of Clare Cabernet to finish.

This micro-batch, super-premium Riesling is the fruit of years of patience. The Florita leaps from the glass, with white florals, orange blossom, orange rind, exotic lime, bath salts and fresh wild lavender. Crystalline from the second the wine enters the mouth. The characters of the nose flow through to the palate, all finishing with dried lime leaves. This Riesling is an absolute powerhouse, with intense flavour and an incredibly long drive.

This Shiraz honours the vision of pioneer Clare Valley winemaker Jim Barry and his wife Nancy. In 1964, Jim and Nancy purchased 70 acres of prime land from Duncan McRae Wood and planted their first vineyard with Shiraz. It was an inspired choice of both grape variety and location. Vibrant aroma of lifted violets, red currant, and perfectly ripe back plum, combine with well-integrated spice and a hint of very smart oak hidden in the background. The palate has commanding fruit with a density that stands to attention. Effortless flow throughout with flavours of ripe plum and purple fruits and layered fine tannin. Great intensity with a drive that will last for days.

Lifted spice and ripe mulberry/blackberry aromas are complemented with chocolate, cedar and cinnamon on the nose. Well-integrated oak tannin provides flavours of clove and supple texture, which supports the rich plum, blackberry and mocha. The overall structure is supple and generous with fine-grained tannin and a lingering finish.
