Don't play with your beer, they said. Oops. Emerson's love playing with Bird Dog. Having brewed a Gin Dog, a chilly dog and even a Little Bird they are now very excited to bring you Dirty Bird. Dirty in the best possible hazy way. All the flavours you would expect from the original, just a little sweeter, and a tad more citrus and tropical, with a slightly piney finish. Best served in a clean glass.

A hallucinatory, mind-bending, consciousness-expanding, dream-like experience is not what you'll find in this can. It's just a beer, man. But, this cloudy IPA does have a gnarly hit of Riwaka, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops, with a tropical citrus flavour, and a totally piney finish. At least it's a trip for your taste-buds. Far out.

Porter is the oldest commercially brewed style and London Porter was Emerson's first beer. Dark, dry and mellow with some hoppy characteristics, pours a deep brown colour with reddish tints.

This is a beer with a story to tell and all the main characters are women. It was brewed by the women of Emerson's to mark International Women's Day in celebration of equality, diversity and really good beer. Pulp Fiction is a hazy pale made with Talus and Mosaic hops and infused with mango puree. it has a silky, tropical mouthfeel, and absolutely no notes of bias or discrimination.

Not that anyone is complaining of course. A Low Carb beer that just isn't about being low carb, it is about the flavour. It is a Low Carb Pale Ale that has the incredible hop aroma and hop flavour you expect from a typical Epic beer. Luke Nicholas owner/founder of Epic Brewing Company says 'we were shocked when reading that Low Carb beer sales were greater than the total Craft Beer market in New Zealand. Hazy IPA's are huge on the fruity hop aroma and the taste is more sweet and fruity with little bitterness. They are fuller in body. The bitterness is 14 IBU - fruity, hoppy, sweet, full.

This APA is driven by the subtropical fruits (including passion fruit & mango) from the Mosaic hops. The massive hop flavour is matched with a subtle level of bitterness.

A refreshingly lively lager with hints of tropical, fruit like notes and a mild bitterness. This full flavoured lager was launched in 2008 and named 'Best Low Carbohydrate Beer in New Zealand' in 2009 and 2010 at the NZ Beer Awards. It also became the first New Zealand low carb beer to win a Gold medal at the prestigious Monde Selection awards in Belgium in 2010, winning Gold again in 2011.
